The leaders will, among other things:
- discuss issues related to international cooperation in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in the economic recovery
- take stock of EU-Australia relations,including ongoing negotiations with regard to a free trade agreement (FTA)
- discuss cooperation in Asia and the Pacific region and global issues such as climate change and multilateralism.
The EU will be represented by Charles Michel, President of the European Council, and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission. Australia will be represented by Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
