Duration of the contract: from 2021-01-12 to 2022-01-11 eventually renewable.
Location: INESC TEC, Porto, Portugal
Work Area: Development of graphic user interfaces and integration of optimization algorithms in embedded systems
Project overview: Define graphical user interfaces for monitoring and control systems for buildings Integration of computational artifacts in embedded/mobile systems Implementation of data storage in databases App development and publishing in Android and Apple stores
Objectives: Analysis of the state of the art regarding the implementation of graphical user interfaces. Definition of engagement strategies to
maximize user participation. Designing and prototyping of graphic interfaces. Integration of computational algorithms in embedded systems.
App publishing in relevant stores (Android, Apple). Technical and functional testing and validation in laboratory and real-world environment.
Academic Qualifications: Bachelor or Master degree in: electrical and computer engineering; computer sciences; informatics engineering; other related fields
Minimum profile required: Experience in the design of graphic user interfaces for mobile systems and publishing in app stores.
Preference factors: Experience with microservices design and implementation; Experience in programming embedded systems; Fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written)
Funding Entity: Funded by National Funds through FCT – Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P.,in the scope of the project UIDB/50014/2020
Type of contract: Certain Term
The hiring shall be governed by what is stipulated in the legislation in force regarding fixed individual employment contracts, as well as by the internal rules of INESC TEC, considering the regulations on the funding of R&D units for 2020-2023 .

a) Relevant Curriculum in the concerned field of this tender
b) Proven experience.
