Many of these updates are a result of Streamline Sacramento – the City’s Development Process Improvements Program.Building Division and Streamline Sacramento UpdatesVirtual Inspections: The Building Division now offers virtual inspections for qualifying residential web permits, currently minor HVAC and water heaters, with plans to expand qualifying types in the future. Contractors and owner-builders can now select an inspection time and meet with a City inspector remotely using any device with a camera and internet connection, speeding up the inspection process.
